Located on the southern banks of the Crocodile River and bordering Kruger National Park, Buhala Lodge features elegant rooms, an outdoor pool and open deck spa.
The elegantly decorated rooms and suites at this colonial style, thatched roof lodge all have air conditioning and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. The rooms are located in the main building and the suites are separate and feature a private outdoor sitting area with views of Kruger National Park and the Crocodile River. All rooms feature en suite bathrooms with free-standing showers.
Breakfast is provided every morning. The restaurant and bar is situated at the main building. Meals are served in the dining room or on the veranda and dinner consists of a three course meal that changes daily. Alternative meals due to dietary requirements can be accommodated on request, with prior arrangement.
Buhala Lodge boasts an open deck spa, where guests can request a massage for a fee or choose from a selection of treatments. The spa overlooks Kruger Park and the river. The large outdoor veranda provides guests an opportunity to relax and dine outside while admiring views of the Kruger National Park and the wild life that frequent the area.
Guests can book safaris with a qualified guide for a surcharge. For self-drivers, the Malelane Gate into Kruger National Park is about 15-minutes from the lodge. Early morning walks, night drives and transfers can also be arranged on request at a surcharge. Guests of Buhala Lodge have the opportunity to play golf at Leopard Creek Country Club.
The Leopard Creek Country and Golf Club is 15 km and Nelspruit Airport is 65 km away. Airport transfers can be arranged for a surcharge.
